This Privacy Policy describes how TextPepper ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with a TextPepper messaging assistant. TextPepper provides SMS/WhatsApp assistants to service businesses (such as personal trainers, studios, and clinics); when you text one of those businesses, you are interacting with our service on that business's behalf.

1. Information We Collect

• Mobile phone number — collected when you text a TextPepper-powered number or when the business you work with adds you as a client.
• Message content — the text of messages you send to and receive from the assistant.
• Scheduling data — your appointment history, preferences, session-package balance, and related notes kept by the business.
• Carrier metadata — your wireless carrier may transmit standard data such as message timestamps and delivery receipts.
• Account data — if you create a TextPepper business account: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above only to:

• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments;
• Send appointment reminders and operational notifications;
• Answer routine questions about scheduling and availability;
• Maintain accurate client records for the business you interact with;
• Operate and secure TextPepper business accounts.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or message content with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• The business you interact with — your conversations and scheduling records are visible to the business whose number you text; that is the product.
• Telecommunications providers that deliver messages between you and the business, solely for message delivery.
• Service providers that host or back up our systems under confidentiality obligations, including AI providers that process message text to generate replies.
• Authorities when required by law (e.g. valid subpoena).

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain message logs and scheduling records for as long as the business relationship remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to support business records and dispute resolution. You may request deletion at any time by emailing jordan.snyder@gmail.com.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

• Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
• Get help by replying HELP or by emailing jordan.snyder@gmail.com.
• Request access or deletion of your data by emailing the address above.

7. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
